Eden will be a little slice of paradise for rodeo enthusiasts when the Concho County town celebrates the Spring Stampede in early April.
Activities
- The Adam’s Rib Cook-Off will be a mouth-watering culinary competition with weekend chefs vying for first prize in the categories of ribs, brisket and stuffed jalapenos, and for a sweet treat, check out the confections competing in Eve’s Seduction Dessert Competition.
- If the cook-off leaves you with a hankering for a heaping helping of ‘que, curb your cravings with a Chuck Wagon BBQ dinner, served from 1 – 8 pm.
- The ranch rodeo will have a round up of events including ranch sorting, trailer loading, double muggin, wild cow milking, goat roping and a horse-pulled innertube competition.
- Steer Lone Star little ones to the Sick Horse Rodeo for muttin’ bustin’, calf roping and much more.
- The stars at night are big and bright deep in the heart of Texas, and after the rodeo festival attendees can move their feet to the beat of Crossing Tyler at a street dance.
